The hotel is located in the amazing historic district of Dubai, in the old Bastakiya area of town. It is in a quiet area, perfect for those seeking a peaceful stay. The rooms, decorated in a beautiful Arabian style with traditional furniture, are comfortable and come with a bathroom. The breakfast, included in our rate, offers a taste of Arabic cuisine with delicious elements.
No major issues, everything was satisfactory.

This hotel in the Bastakiya area is a great choice if you want to experience the old Dubai. The attention to detail in the rooms, with their traditional design and large, modernized bathrooms, is impressive. The staff are friendly and the breakfast, with its Arabic cuisine, is a delicious way to start the day.
No significant issues, everything was fine.

Though beautifully appointed, it may not have all the facilities of an international hotel, but it does give you the Old Dubai experience

The ambience - the historic atmosphere beats all... and the setting is perfect for visiting the Creek, souqs and old parts of Dubai.

Strolling down walled walkways and being located conveniently next to the museum in the rebuilt part of the old city, the location of this guest house is amazing. It is just a few steps from interesting restaurants and a subway station, which makes it a great base from which to explore the city. the rooms are spacious, clean and well maintained, with A/C and dark interiors for a peaceful night's sleep. the comforting service, along with the diverse breakfast, is something to be appreciated.
The hotel lacks facilities such as gyms or pools.

Location in old Dubai, old arabic style of buildings, the open courtyard and the wonderful atmosphere.

This hotel is a historic building in the only historic part of Dubai. It is tastefully done and the staff is very helpful. One can use the facilities of the Arabian Courtyard nearby which includes a free shuttle to the airport and the beach which is very nice. Excellent but expensive Indian restaurant in the Arabian Courtyard.

The rooms are spacious and the location is good for exploring the old town area. The breakfast was decent and filling, good way to start the day.
The hotel lacks basic amenities like a gym or pool, which was a disappointment. The staff was not very helpful when it came to planning activities, and the lack of Christmas decorations or celebrations made it feel like just any other day.

Great location, great price. Staff were very helpful. Rooms had character, unike many others in Dubai...
Minor things: explaining the location, as it is off the street down an alley, so may be unknown to taxi drivers etc; and there was confusion with an associated hotel - I think they may share a main telephone/fax number

I really like this reasonable price and the atomosphere.
Unfortunately, hot water pressure was not enough.
